| The Yushan area was an important literary town in the south of the Yangtze River in the Qing Dynasty,and its literary achievements occupy an important position in the entire Qing Dynasty literary territory.According to the statistics of American Sinologist Man Suen,70.9%of the 3181 women with native place exams recorded in "A Textual Research on Women’s Writings in Ancient Times" came from the Jiangnan region.When the statistics are based on counties,there are 106 young ladies in Changshu County(not counting Zhaowen County)in Yushan area,ranking fifth.The prosperity of female literature in Yushan area can be seen.This article focuses on the three themes of love,destiny and fame,which are more important in female literature in the Qing Dynasty.The first chapter tells about Yushan Caiyuan’s talent breakthrough.This chapter starts with the growth and decline of the two forces of the great tradition in the Qing Dynasty and the small tradition in the Yushan area,analyzes the reasons for the emphasis on sentiments and customs in the Yushan area,and introduces the female talents in the Yushan area from the two dimensions of the profoundness of time and the wide range of content.The lady’s writing of "emotion" in marriage breaks the inherent cognition of "couples are not romantic" and the "suppressive" customs of the Qing Dynasty,showing the distinctive regional characteristics of Yushan,and discussing the deconstruction and reconstruction of women in their writing The meaning of the relationship between husband and wife.The second chapter discusses the contradiction between Yushan Caiyuan’s talents and life.Under the alternate influence of the two thoughts of "causal and destiny" and "fuhui and hui",on the one hand,women are prone to be talented in the face of premature death,disease,poverty,marital misfortune,and public criticism,on the other hand.And because of the actual benefits brought by talents and the influence of thought and productivity development,he did not regard "talented women’s fate" as his only ending.This chapter focuses on women’s writing,questioning,defending and transcending the traditional view of talent and fate,and discusses the significance of the writing of talent and fate to women’s spiritual world,social life and literary value.Chapter Three discusses the anxiety of Yushan Caiyuan’s talent.Talent anxiety is a very complicated and delicate issue,and its connotation includes not only the anxiety of fear of being unfamiliar,but also the anxiety of fear of being too famous.Although the anxiety about talents was common among women in the Qing Dynasty,the degree of individual anxiety and the corresponding external manifestations were also different due to the differences in the background,status,age,and personality.This chapter combs and analyzes the causes,manifestations and solutions of the anxiety of talented ladies and discusses the shaping of female literary temperament by the anxiety of talents and its assistance to women in obtaining their own authority. |
