Transitional connectives in discourse play an important role in semantic coherence of Chinese discourse and are frequently used in discourse,which is also the focus of Chinese grammar research.In the field of teaching Chinese as a second language,most of the studies on transitional connectives focus on the interior of sentences,while a few people focus on the larger discourse level and pay attention to the overall logical expression of foreign students.Based on the present situation and the theory of textual cohesion,this thesis conducts a corpus-based study on the use of transitional connectives by foreign students at the textual level.It is found that there are some problems in the use of important and representative“但是(但)、可是(可)、然而(而)、不过、只是”.In order to solve these specific problems,I first conducted ontology-related semantic and pragmatic studies on the transition connectives in the target text,and summarized the similarities and differences between the components through the semantic analysis.Subsequently,I also analyzed the use of transitional connectives in Chinese discourse by foreign students.According to the results of the analysis,I summed up some typical types of errors,such as misuse,omission,wrong addition,improper discourse logic,summed up the difficulty of Chinese discourse connection components,students’ negative transfer of mother tongue,students take avoidance strategies and students’ lack of discourse awareness.In order to solve the existing problems,this paper puts forward relevant teaching suggestions from the perspective of teaching : flexible use of teaching methods,according to the specific situation of morpheme teaching or context teaching to help students understand;reasonable setting of exercises helps students consolidate their learning content;pay attention to students’ feedback and improve teaching design;help foreign students overcome avoidance psychology;improve the importance of discourse teaching,grasp logic words to guide students to understand the context of discourse.At the same time,it also notes the related problems to be improved in corpus construction.I firmly believe that with the continuous development of Chinese language teaching,the study of discourse transition connection components will become more perfect,and thus promote the development of discourse connection components. |
