Research Of Immersive Art Exhibition In Museums

For an art museums,exhibitons are the connection to art and the audience.In traditional exhibitions,there is a distance between the audience and the paintings or the sculptures,the elegant design of the museum also raises the barriers to people.But,with the development of contemporary art and the improvement of public aesthetics,the forms of art exhibitions have become more diverse.And that’s why the immersive art exhibitions have become popular.The artists put varieties of new media technologies into exhibitions and design many interactions that every audience can participate in,which greatly improves the audience’s interest of the exhibition.In immersive art,the audience is no longer passively viewing the exhibition,but participates in the creation,and even becomes an important part of the work,gaining a unique artistic experience.Immersive works of art are not only the artist’s creation,but also a result of the audience’s participation in the exhibition.The exhibition breaks the distance between the artist and the audience through “immersive experience”.Therefore,more and more art institutions are no longer satisfied with the conventional exhibition mode,but beginning to adopt newer and more interesting ways to attract audiences.This situation puts forward new requirements for art institutions,such as art galleries and museums.How to break the shackles of traditional display methods,adapt to emerging art and the new aesthetic needs of the public,and how to balance the artistry and interest of exhibitions ?
