| Chinese painting is one of the important ways of expression of Chinese traditional artistic thought from text to image.Stone appreciation culture has been an indispensable part of Chinese traditional art and culture since ancient times.There is no lack of classical paintings depicting stone appreciation in all dynasties.As a special spiritual carrier,stone appreciation plays a significant role in the history of Chinese painting.From the painting of Xianglong stone by Huizong of Song Dynasty,we can see the special feelings of ancient Chinese literati and painters for stone.Ancient Chinese literati have a variety of aesthetic orientations,but their pursuit of the beauty of appreciating stones has never stopped.Both Bai Juyi’s "Taihu Lake stone" and song Huizong’s "Xianglong stone" are the emotional expression and pen expression of artists when they face the stone appreciation.Taking Huizong of Song Dynasty and the painting of Xianglong stone as the starting point,this paper analyzes the artistic expression of Lake stone from the artistic expression of poetry,painting and calligraphy,compares the types of vegetation in the painting,and discusses the internal meaning of postscript sentence by sentence.Starting from the social background,lifestyle,humanistic spirit and many other factors of the Song Dynasty,this paper looks for the reasons for the prevalence of stone appreciation culture in the Song Dynasty,with the intention to reveal the aesthetic thought of Huizong of the Song Dynasty and the influence of stone appreciation culture on later Chinese painting.Combined with the act of appreciating stones into paintings,this paper attempts to find the emotional expression of painters’ "expressing their aspirations by relying on things",explore the literati spirit contained in stone related works,and trace the aesthetic concept of "seeing the big from the small" in Chinese paintings. |
