Modern And Contemporary Calligrapher’s Study On "Zheng Wengong’s Tablet"

“Zheng Wengong’s tablet”,as one of the representative tablet works in Northern Wei Dynasty,was valued since the qing dynasty the stone inscription study became popular gradually,it’s existence shows the calligraphy style in that period of time starts to change from harsh to elegant,the font starts to change from precipitous to even and straight,the brushwork starts to change from square to combine round and square.“Zheng Wengong’s Tablet” has been recognized by many scholars for its round and thick pen and flat and wide knot.These two characteristics of calligraphy style are also the focus of later calligrapher’s study.Based on the analysis of Youwei Kang,Youren Yu and Quchang Wang’s learning path of "Zheng Wengong’s tablet",through their different special emphasis of the“Zheng Wengong’s tablet”,to find out how did this tablet influence their calligraphy works.And as a starting point to find the way of the contemporary calligraphy innovation developments and trade-offs.
