There are many frame constructions in contemporary Chinese,which are flexible and productive and can express special grammatical meanings and pragmatic functions.Meanwhile,they are also commonly used by foreign students and prone to errors.In this paper,we mainly apply the theory of frame construction and the theory of error analysis to examine and analyze the frame "ji A you B" in a more comprehensive way.In the frame construction study,4024 frames of "ji A you B" were selected by collecting and organizing contemporary Chinese corpus in the BCC corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University,and then the characteristics of the frame are depicted from four aspects: structural features,syntactic functions,semantic analysis and pragmatic analysis.In terms of structure,the number of syllables of the variables A and B in the frame "ji A you B" mainly disyllabic,and both of them have a certain degree of symmetry;in terms of syntax,the variable terms of frame construction "ji A you B" can be adjectival,verb and prepositional constituents,while the entire frame can act as a subject,predicate,object,definite,dative,complementary or independent clause in a sentence.In terms of semantics,the variables A and B in the frame "ji A you B" have four types of relationships: proximate,antonymic,analogous and degree,and the valueadded semantic of the whole frame in a specific context is reflected in highlighting the function or nature of the variety,enhancing the semantic expression,highlighting a certain contradictory state;in terms of usage,"ji A you B" is a written form and the distribution of focus is basically equally distributed on A and B in this frame construction.On the approximate structure comparison,the phrases " ji A ye B " and " you A you B " have similarities and differences with the usage and functions of the frame " ji A you B ".In the study of error analysis,the 309 errored corpora of "ji A you B" in the Global Chinese Mediated Corpus and HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus were labeled and classified,and the highest frequency of syntactic errors was found among foreign students,which indicates that the limitation of variable items into the frame and the formation of overall awareness of the frame are the learning difficulties of foreign students in this frame construction.From above,five causes of error were identified:generalization of target language rules,negative transfer of learners’ native language,use of avoidance strategies,misguided teaching or poorly written materials,and factors in the language program itself.Finally,based on the above research results,pertinent teaching suggestions are proposed from two levels: teachers’ teaching and textbook layout.
