The Ecological Concern Of Contemporary Art

The global ecological crisis is becoming more and more serious,and ecological problems emerge one after another.The outbreak of COVID-19 is threatening people’s life and health.On the surface,it is a struggle between human beings and diseases,but in essence,it reflects ecological imbalance.With the rapid change of ecological environment and the gradual deterioration of human living environment,more and more artists have join in the creation of the theme of ecological concern.This paper selects contemporary artists who pay attention to ecological issues and their works to sort out and analyze.The main content is divided into three chapters: Chapter One introduces the different natural ecological concepts contained in Chinese and Western art history.Understanding the ideological origin behind the artistic creation of Chinese and Western artists will provide strong support for subsequent analysis and research of artistic works.The second chapter studies the art works related to ecological care in contemporary art,and selects the three research directions of ecology--"macro ecology","micro ecology" and "disease ecology" as the theme,and analyzes and compares the works of artists concerned with similar creation themes.Analyze how artists participate in and relate to the topic of ecology through their works,the feelings of The Times reflected behind their works,and the significance left for the future and the era.The third chapter is my creative practice,expressing my artistic language and thinking about ecological issues through my artistic creation.In this way,I hope to inspire more people to think about art and environmental crisis through my works.
