Research On The Artistic Style And Development Of Cyberpunk Comics

Talking about cyberpunk,people are more associated with some classic works with film and television,animation,games,novels and other carriers,but they have little understanding of cyberpunk comics.As one of the earliest art forms of cyberpunk art,comics laid the most fundamental foundation for the formation of the artistic style of cyberpunk works and the subsequent development in many aspects.Therefore,taking cyberpunk comics as the research object,this paper discusses the artistic expression characteristics and similarities and differences between eastern and Western cyberpunk comics from the perspective of art,and makes a systematic combing and examination on the generation and development of the artistic style of cyberpunk comics.From the perspective of comics,this paper aims to explore the characteristics of cyberpunk art style and the basic context and framework of development and evolution,provide some valuable references and possible innovative ideas for the creation and development of cyberpunk comics in the contemporary era,and make people aware of the important impact of comics on a popular culture.Firstly,this paper will briefly explain the related concepts of cyberpunk and its historical background;Secondly,by analyzing the representative cyberpunk comics of the East and the West(mainly France and Japan),this paper discusses the characteristics of its art style and its far-reaching impact on this school,and analyzes the internal and external causes of its development and evolution from a historical perspective;Finally,it explains the new appearance and development trend of cyberpunk comics in the new century,and thinks about the problems it faces and the possible innovation path in creative methods and forms of expression.
