Based on TPACK theory and multimodal theory, this paper uses qualitative analysis methods, takes the high-quality courses participating in the 2020 national high school information technology and teaching integration innovation as the research object, analyzes the current situation and problems of information integration in high school English reading teaching, and puts forward feasible suggestions. This study mainly discusses the following three research questions:(1)what is the current situation of information technology integration in English reading teaching in senior high school? What are the problems?(2)How should we optimize English reading teaching through information technology? What are the shortcomings?(3)What is the role of integrating information technology in senior high school English reading teaching in cultivating senior high school students’ core literacy? What are the challenges? The research found that:(1)the integration of information technology and English reading teaching in senior high school has achieved good results. The form of "integration" used by teachers has changed from traditional media to the application of big data. However, the integration of some classroom information technology and English reading teaching is superficial, only using the demonstration and resource provision functions of courseware, and its use is still the replication and simplification of traditional teaching.(2)Information technology optimizes reading classroom teaching from the creation of teaching situation, the change of interactive mode, the deepening of reading activities and the acquisition of evaluation data. There are still deficiencies in fully considering the needs of students and making rational use of information technology. At the same time,it puts forward higher requirements for teachers’ information literacy and practical ability.(3)With the support of information technology, active learning environments such as independent exploration, multiple interaction, cooperative learning and resource sharing have fully mobilized the enthusiasm of English learners for active learning and independent exploration, promoted the cultivation of students’ core literacy, and faced challenges such as the appropriate use of information technology and the full participation of students’ cognition. |
