"Drama within a drama" movie is a special type of movie,however,such movies can be nested with rich art forms,and the movie style of nested drama text is different from other "drama in drama" movies,so this article is in the structure of movie narrative.Movies that embed dramatic story content,episodes,or other dramatic elements are classified as "embedded drama" movies.Compared with the initial stage of domestic "embedded drama" movies,a complete and mature model has been formed abroad,so this paper focuses on the stylized characteristics of this type of Western movies.First,according to the existence form of drama in film,this paper summarizes three "embedded" forms to see the combination of drama space and real space.The first is "meta-drama",which requires the film to expose the behind-the-scenes creative process of the drama in order to trace the final form of the text;the second is the "borrowed drama" movie to embed the original drama text into the drama in different ways of interpretation.The drama space and the real space are clearly distinguished;the "Replacement Drama" film blurs the boundary between reality and drama,and the fragments of drama overlap with the daily life of real life.Second,it explores the uniqueness of theatrical space in "embedded theatrical" films.First,the self-metaphor of mirrored life,the mutual reference between the dramatic characters and the real life of the film,the movie characters are influenced by the dramatic characters and move towards a similar or opposite path;It is a completely different art form from the film,which produces the effect of "defamiliarization" in the film;thirdly,it deconstructs a certain drama to achieve the role of criticism and irony;finally,through the movie with the theme of drama,it exposes the pretense of drama creation.The environment and the realistic function of dramatic art.Thirdly,it analyzes the reference of "embedded theatrical" films to the "staged" artistic technique of drama,showing the fusion and coexistence of two different art forms to achieve the unity of style.The film moves closer to the theater in three aspects: scheduling,sound,and narration,so that the characters can travel back and forth between the theater space and the real space.Explore the realistic meaning of "embedded theatrical" films.This paper traces the origin of the "embedded drama" film type;re-examines the relationship between drama and film with the help of "embedded drama" film,in which film and drama present a new interactive mode;Inspired,since 1992,there has been a long empty window in the shooting of such films in China,and the study of foreign films is conducive to the growth of local films.
