| As a military choreographer and director since the new era,Yang Xiaoyang has been deeply nourished by family culture and experienced the identity transformation from actor to choreographer and director.His large-scale dance drama creation has accumulated small works with military themes in the early stage and the "experience schema" as the director of large-scale theme parties.In his dance drama works,Yang Xiaoyang takes the character elements and story elements as the focus of creation,and his exploration of stage "space construction" is unique.He integrates the diversity of dance drama language and formal style with open dance thinking to realize the "internal expression" of his dance drama creation.As the first large-scale dance drama,Helan on the moon has effectively imitated the style trace,but its structural integrity,ideological humanism and visual aesthetics have become the internal yardstick of its creative concept.Since the successful creation of the dance drama railway guerrillas,Yang Xiaoyang’s artistic consciousness as a dance choreographer and director has been established,and his creative responsibility and cultural consciousness for the dance drama "revolutionary historical theme" have been further reflected in the subsequent dance dramas "heroes of Lvliang","heroic children" and "Liu Hulan".The dance drama "beating the Golden branch" breaks through the style limitations of the established theme and interprets the traditional culture from its own unique creative perspective.Starting with the method of morphological analysis,this paper selects the above-mentioned large-scale dance dramas with typical significance and representativeness,and tries to analyze Yang Xiaoyang’s personal creative concept and the artistic characteristics of large-scale dance drama creation from the aspects of language construction,structural characteristics,narrative concept and expression methods,so as to explore the value pursuit and aesthetic appeal embodied in Yang Xiaoyang’s dance drama creation,This paper examines the practical significance of his large-scale dance creation in the development process of Chinese contemporary dance drama. |
