Nowadays,we are in an era of information explosion,the rhythm of society is accelerating,the information is complicated but very fragmented,the advent of the network era has brought a huge impact on the reading habits of the public,the traditional way of reading has been greatly impacted,fragmented reading is gradually becoming a trend of "national reading".The calendar as a carrier to record the date,following the footsteps of the national reading trend is also updating and iterating,while the traditional calendar culture is inherited to this day,functional calendar and a variety of cultural and creative combination,the birth of a new term calendar book,and has triggered a number of trends,calendar books are also given a new cultural meaning and value system in the era of reading map.The public reading in the era of reading pictures is undergoing subtle changes,and these changes are reflected in various levels such as reading carriers,reading methods and reading themes.The fragmentation of reading profoundly affects the diversified development of calendar,and the change of calendar form and function also reflects the trend of "national reading" from the side,at the same time,the graphic editing and information reorganization of calendar presents a new knowledge spectrum,which brings a brand-new reading experience for the map reading era.This paper analyzes the design iterations of calendars based on the environment of the map-reading era,and then discusses the value and significance of calendars from text reading to media consumption and integrated cultural and creative publications,taking into account the media characteristics of calendars.
