Research On Animal Porcelain Sculptures From Cizhou Kiln In Song And Yuan Dynastie

Cizhou kiln,as the largest folk kiln system in northern China in ancient times,has great influence and far-reaching significance in the development history of Chinese ceramics.Cizhou kiln in Song and Yuan Dynasties was in its prosperous period of development and played an important role in the whole ceramic industry.Excluding the mainstream varieties fired by Cizhou kiln in the song and Yuan Dynasties,Animal porcelain sculptures are unique among many ceramic products.Their shapes are diverse and diverse.In addition,Cizhou kiln itself has a strong local flavor and secular style,so it must contain immeasurable research value.The purpose of this paper is to combine the social outlook,customs and culture,entertainment life and religious beliefs under the conditions of the Song and Yuan Dynasties with the animal porcelain sculptures of Cizhou kilns,and see the mystery of the animal porcelain sculpture of Cizhou kiln through the analysis of all aspects of secular life in the song and Yuan dynasties.Starting from the animal porcelain sculptures of Cizhou kiln in the song and Yuan dynasties that can be collected within the author’s ability,this paper analyzes and discusses the modeling,types and functions of animal porcelain sculptures of Cizhou kiln in the song and Yuan Dynasties,and interprets its process characteristics.The appearance of animal porcelain sculpture is simple,but it is actually ingenious and interesting,with strong charm,which is thought-provoking,elegant or vulgar.The concise and refined form contains a far-reaching artistic realm.This paper attempts to analyze the aesthetic tendency of animal porcelain sculpture,in order to have a far-reaching understanding of Cizhou kiln animal porcelain sculpture in song and Yuan Dynasties.
