Brahms is the last composer of German-Austrian classicism,and his works have a very important and special position in the development history of world culture and art development.The clarinet quintet in b minor is not entirely classical.As a self-disciplined untitled music,the work is actually a opposite between the clarinet and string quartet,which can actually be regarded as a duet rather than a clarinet dominance or quintet.This paper to explore the life of Brahms,study the music connotation of b minor clarinet quintet as the starting point,combined with multiple angles,namely,the panel,vocal expression,clarinet in the quintet,clarinet playing techniques and clarinet and vocal cooperation,the clarinet quintet —— the expression of the first movement.The paper is divided into clue,text and conclusion parts,where the text is divided into three chapters.Chapter 1 is Brahms’ s Clarinet Quintet in b-minor(Op.115)Overview,mainly explaining the life of Brahms and the creation and influence of the Clarinet Quintet in b-minor.The second chapter is the musical connotation of the first movement in the Clarinet quintet in b-minor,and explores its connotation through the analysis of musical structure and musical language analysis.The third chapter is the playing expression of the first movement in "Clarinet Quintet in b minor",analyzes the overall expression of the five parts by ligstration,and studies the status of the clarinet in the quintet and its coordination with the string parts.
