This paper focuses on the study of the spirit of wild grass in the Tang Dynasty through Huai Su’s "Zixu Tie".Cursive calligraphy reached its heyday in the Tang Dynasty,especially the prevalence of the Tang Dynasty,the writing style of wild and wantamount,broke the traditional aesthetic,in the aspect of calligraphy aesthetics enrich the meaning of Chinese culture,in order to better understand the cursive style,From the cultural background of the Tang Dynasty,Huaisu’s experience in studying calligraphy,analysis of techniques in "Zixuettie" and so on,I will try to see how the tang Dynasty’s wild grass developed and what kind of relationship exists between its calligraphy form and emotional expression.First,to explore the development of cursive conditions.By contrast,in the Tang Dynasty,when regular script development prevailed,there were two cursive calligrapher: Zhang Xu and Huai Su.Under the background of The Times,the thoughts of calligraphers are influenced by Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism.The integration of background culture and calligraphy forms different features of calligraphy.Secondly,how was the artistic style of Huai su’s cursive handwriting formed? He made friends with famous contemporary men in the process of learning books,and left a large number of poems to prove huai su’s writing state of wild grass.According to historical records,famous officials and nobles’ comments on Huaisu’s calligraphy recorded his early journey of learning and communication,and formed his inner world of true temperament in this process.Under the strict legal system of tang Dynasty,how did the wild grass get out and develop to its peak,and what was the wild grass spirit of Tang Dynasty? Huaisu sought for his true self between being unable and having the law.Although his calligraphy was dotted and messy,it was full of elastic life tension and distinctive personality characteristics."Self-narration" calligraphy style is the embodiment of the spirit of romanticism,with "I" as the main,the book should care about the expression of nature.In the spirit of wild grass embodies the pursuit of ideal aesthetic realm of "I".
