The dialect attribution of goulou Cantonese and the relationship between goulou Cantonese and Pinghua in southern Guangxi are important linguistic problems that have not been solved yet.Yulin vernacular, the mainstream dialect in Yuzhou District,Fumian district and Xingye County,is the representative dialect of Cantonese in goulou District of Guangxi.A comprehensive and in-depth study of the phonetic phenomenon of Yulin vernacular is undoubtedly very important to solve the dialect ownership of Cantonese in goulou Cantonese.Although the internal consistency of Yulin vernacular pronunciation is very strong, due to its wide circulation range and rich contact with surrounding dialects, its pronunciation has different manifestations in different towns.According to the phonetic differences and geographical distribution,Yulin vernacular can be divided into north and south. This paper takes the phonetics of Yulin vernacular in the South distributed in and around Yuzhou District as the research object, selects the urban area of Yuzhou District,Rendong Town,Maolin Town,Xiaopingshan town and Dappingshan town as the representative points of dialect, and makes a comprehensive and systematic phonetic description of Yulin vernacular in the south by comprehensively applying the relevant theories and methods of historical linguistics, descriptive linguistics, contact linguistics and acoustic experiment,It also makes a detailed analysis and induction of its internal synchronic differences.Combined with the phonetic situation of Cantonese in Guangdong and Guangxi and other Chinese dialects around the distribution area of Yulin vernacular in the south, this paper discusses the causes and mechanisms of phonetic differences from two aspects of self evolution and contact evolution,so as to reveal the phonetic appearance and development history of Yulin vernacular more comprehensively and deeply,It lays a solid foundation for the further study of the types and attribution of Cantonese dialects in Southeast Guangxi. The article consists of six parts.Introduction.Introducing the general situation of Yulin City, the geographical scope of Yulin vernacular in the south, the general situation of human geography language of five dialect representative points, and the reasons for the selection of dialect points. It also introduces the research status of Yulin vernacular pronunciation in the south, the research object, research purpose, significance, methods and pronunciation collaborators. The first chapter is the voice system of Yulin vernacular in the south.Describe the phonological tone system, phonological characteristics and phonological changes of five representative dialects in Yuzhou District(urban area),Rendong Town,Maolin Town,Xiaopingshan Town and Dappingshan Town of Yulin city. The second chapter is the internal consistency and difference of Yulin vernacular pronunciation in the south. This paper compares and summarizes the consistency and differences of the phonetics of the five representative points of Yulin vernacular in the south from the initial consonant, vowel and tones. In terms of consistency, the southern Yulin vernacular has the typical characteristics of the missing piece Cantonese, such as the confluence of the words of the Duan(端)and Jing(精)groups(except the Ni(泥)initial consonant and Xin(心)initial consonant),the vowel of the tip of the tongue, the vowel of the Zhi(止)opening tooth vowels into one class, and the tone category is ten categories. In terms of differences, some phonetic differences of Yulin vernacular in the south are related to the significant characteristics of Cantonese. For example,in terms of initials, after the complete voiced initials are cleared, the characters reading stoppers and fricative initials are inconsistent in the non aspirated characteristics. Most Yulin vernacular in the South are non aspirated regardless of flat tone, but Maolin dialect is differentiated according to the differences of tone, and is read as aspirated in the three tones of Yangping,Yangshang and Shangyangru. It is read as non aspirated sound in the two tones of Yangqv and Xiayangru; In terms of vowels, the vowels of the word Dang(宕)opening third class and Geng(梗)second class are different today. The main vowel of Dapingshan dialect is “(?)”,keeping the ending of “-η/k”.The main vowel of Yulin vernacular in other southern areas is now pronounced as “a”,and the finals of rhyme ending fall off;In terms of tone, the Yangshang tone of Dapingshan dialect is different from that of other southern Yulin vernaculars. From chapter three to chapter four, the internal differences of Yulin vernacular pronunciation in the south, the causes of formation and the evolution of pronunciation. From the perspective of its own evolution, the internal adjustment of the phonetic system of Yulin vernacular in the South causes a series of chain reactions in the phonetic system through the way of sound shift, which makes the structure of the phonetic system change step by step, such as the main vowel of ancient Xie(蟹),Liu(流),Shen(深)and Zhen(臻)“e” Change to “a”,the main vowel of non visible characters such as ancient Xie(蟹),Xian(咸),Shan(山)“a” Change to “(?)”,common composing the main vowel evolution “e> a> (?)”.The inconsistent speed of sound change makes the phonetic evolution unbalanced. For example, there are three evolution stages for the main vowel raising of non visible characters, such as ancient Xie(蟹),Xian(咸),Shan(山).The three evolution stages show that the characters of ancient Xie(蟹),Xian(咸)develop faster than Shan(山).From the perspective of contact evolution,Yulin vernacular in the South has rich and close contact with the surrounding Cantonese sub dialect and Hakka dialect,so that its pronunciation is integrated into the phonetic characteristics of Xingye dialect and Hakka dialect. For example, due to the influence of Xingye dialect,a small number of Xin(心)words in Dapingshan dialect are now read as fricative sounds on the leaves of the tongue;Maolin dialect is influenced by Hakka dialect, and the internal plosives disappear.Conclusion.Summarize the main contents and conclusions of the full text.
