Research On Xun Huisheng's Singing Art (1922-1928

This dissertation focuses on the records recorded and released by the four record companies of EMI,Gaoting,Shengli and Beikai for Peking Opera artist Xun Huisheng during the seven years from 1922 to 1928.More than 40 recordings were recorded,as well as 4 static recordings and 11 live recordings as auxiliary materials,trying to make a detailed review and summary of Mr.Xun Huisheng’s artistic characteristics and achievements in Peking Opera singing.In addition to the research significance,research status and methods of this topic,the introduction part also provides an overview of Mr.Xun’s career in art.The first chapter divides Mr.Xun Huisheng’s characteristics in singing style and skill handling into "1922-1928:Inheriting and Exploring Styles".Formation","1928-1939: Full-scale maturity and flowing water","1940-1957: Artistic perfection and uniqueness in the chrysanthemum altar","1958-1962: Although the voice is decadent,the charm is still rich".The appearance is analyzed in detail.The second chapter attempts to stand on a macro perspective,analyze the vocalization methods of Peking Opera Danxing,and speculate on the common wrong vocalization habits among professionals and amateurs who are engaged in Peking Opera performances.Mr.Xun Huisheng’s singing art is analyzed from the perspectives of chanting,ornamental tone and syllable accent.The third chapter selects two famous Peking Opera performers,Sun Yumin and Zhao Yanxia,who have inherited the Xun school in a more comprehensive way and have gone far on the road of development,and try to analyze the performance of their singing art from the two dimensions of vocal method and skill processing.Achievement.
