As one of the five classics,The Book of Songs plays an important role in the history of ancient Confucian classics.There have been a large number of works on it.In the interpretation of this classic,there are two main schools,one is "the Sinology of The Book of Songs" and the other is "the study of the Song Dynasty of The Book of Songs".The "Sinology of The Book of Songs" is integrated with "Xu","Zhuan","Jian" and "Shu".The Northern Song Dynasty is the beginning of the "study of the Song Dynasty of The Book of Songs",which has played a leading role in the development of the whole "study of the Song Dynasty of The Book of Songs".This paper first combs the development process of the study of The Book of Songs in the Northern Song Dynasty,then takes the criticism of Mao Shi Zhuan Jian in Ouyang Xiu’s Original Meaning of Poetry,Wang Anshi’s New Meaning of The Book of Songs and Su Zhe’s Shi Ji Zhuan as the research object,discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the study of The Book of Songs in the Northern Song Dynasty and the Sinology of The Book of Songs,and finally summarizes the characteristics,gains and losses and influence of the study of The Book of Songs in the Northern Song Dynasty.The first chapter of this paper briefly summarizes the origin and development of the study of The Book of Songs in the Northern Song Dynasty,and explores the origin of the study of The Book of Songs in the Northern Song Dynasty by introducing the development process of the study of The Book of Songs before the study of The Book of Songs in the Northern Song Dynasty.The second chapter mainly studies Ouyang Xiu’s criticism of Mao Shi Zhuan Jian in Original Meaning of Poetry,focusing on the poetry in the "Wei Feng" in The Book of Songs,and analyzes the gains and losses of Original Meaning of Poetry and Mao Shi Zhuan Jian from the interpretation of the "Wei Feng" in Original Meaning of Poetry.The third chapter mainly studies Wang Anshi’s criticism of Mao Shi Zhuan Jian in New Meaning of The Book of Songs,and also analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of New Meaning of The Book of Songs and Mao Shi Zhuan Jian with the "Wei Feng" of The Book of Songs as the center.The fourth chapter mainly studies Su Zhe’s criticism of Mao Shi Zhuan Jian in Shi Ji Zhuan,still focusing on the "Wei Feng" in The Book of Songs,and analyzes the right and wrong between Shi Ji Zhuan and Mao Shi Zhuan Jian.The fifth chapter deeply analyzes the characteristics,gains and losses of the study of The Book of Songs in the Northern Song Dynasty,and the influence of the study of The Book of Songs in the Northern Song Dynasty on the scholars of The Book of Songs in the Southern Song Dynasty represented by Zheng Qiao and Zhu Xi.
