Art Chain: The Tree Of Theory Is Evergreen

In 1988,Xia Zhongyi’s monograph Art Chain was published.The book exploratorically uses modern and modern psychology theory as a method to systematically study the literary process,connects writer modeling,reader acceptance and scholar criticism in turn,forming a chain of art linked from beginning to end,putting it on the aesthetic level,and logically integrating it into a poetic literary and artistic psychology monograph." The advent of Art Chain has made an important contribution to the discipline reconstruction of Chinese literary and artistic psychology in the new era,and also opened Xia Zhongyi’s academic journey.Taking this monograph as the research object and literature genesis as the academic thinking principle,this paper comprehensively analyzes the essential elements of the vitality of the art chain theory,and establishes the value of the book and its enlightenment significance for contemporary Chinese literary theory in vertical and horizontal comparison.This article attempts to make a relatively complete analysis of Xia Zhongyi’s "Art Chain" from the perspective of the theoretical tree evergreen.This article mainly explains the theoretical system of the art chain and its value from five aspects: first,it defines the two important concepts involved in the Art Chain,"art chain" and "literary psychology",so as to clarify the research object,delineate the scope of research,and establish the research direction;second,analyzes the historical causes of the creation of the works of the Art Chain from the two levels of literary and artistic vitality and discipline reconstruction boom in the 1980s;third,from the perspective of literature,it explains the four characteristics presented by the theory of the art chain theory-the integrity of the theoretical structure,the integration of interdisciplinary,the connection between multiple dimensions,and the dialogue of multiple dimensions,and the dialogue of multiple time and space;fourth,from the perspective of genesis,diving to the psychological level,starting from Xia Zhongyi’s bumpy learning experience,rich academic accumulation and extensive learning,explore the micro-causes of the art chain theory and find a basis for the strong vitality of the theory itself.Finally,explore the current theoretical value of "Art Chain" and establish the value positioning of "Art Chain"-laying the logical starting point of summer academic research,contributing to the construction force of literary and artistic psychology,and enriching the life connotation of contemporary literary theory construction.
