Reconstruction Of Contemporary Marxist Philosophy Theoretical System Of Research

The reconstruction of the theoretical system of modern Marxist philosophy has been a core topic concerned by the Chinese philosophical fields over 20 years. No matter the great discussion on the practical materialism in the 1980s or recent elaboration on the modern value of Marxism philosophy are evolved on this core topic. In this essay are being approached the three important issues about the reconstruction of Marxist philosophy. The three issues are: a. Does Marxism need a theoretical system? b. What is the nature of Marxist philosophy? c. What is the ontology of Marxist philosophy? The analyses of this essay are made by combining history with reality and ideological origin of Marxist philophy with the viewpoints of modern academic fields. It is held that Marxist philosophy needs theoretical system as a carrier. The essence of Marxist philosophy is historical materialism and the ontology of Marxist philosophy is identified with the ontology of productive relation.
