A Study On The Creative Characteristics And Singing Of Faure’s Artistic Songs

As an integral part of western music,French art songs play an important role in the history of western art songs,and are loved by people for their elegant,noble and romantic French music style.As an outstanding representative of French art songs,Faure devoted his whole life to the creation of art songs.The number of his works,the high quality of his achievements in art songs can be compared with German composer Schumann.His works on the basis of inheriting the tradition,continuous reform and innovation,and absorb and accommodate the strengths of different families,forming a unique artistic style,opened the glorious era of French art songs.Based on the related theories of Foley’s art songs and combining with the practice of concerts,this paper analyzes the works performed in concerts and explores the creation characteristics and singing of Foley’s art songs.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter mainly analyzes the general situation of Foley’s art songs and introduces the three creative periods of Foley’s art songs and their artistic status.The second chapter summarizes the creative characteristics of Foley’s art songs,extracts four typical characteristics,and analyzes them in combination with the songs performed in the concert.The third chapter discusses the concert works from the perspective of singing,and summarizes the contents from five aspects: the language characteristics of French in singing,the support and application of breath,the coherence and fluency of sound,the grasp of timbre and expression terms,the emotional grasp of mode change;The fourth chapter is about personal concert experience,including singing,artistic accomplishment,stage performance ability three aspects,the lack of insight into their own singing,summarizes practical experience,so as to promote the artistic accomplishment and singing ability enhancement,to the author in vocal music study,make more reasonable and the system arrangement.
