Analysis Of Li Yinghai’s Vocal Composition

Mr.Li Yinghai is a famous Chinese composer,theorist and music educator.His works covered wide fields,including vocal works such as "Three Poems of the Tang Dynasty",etc.,and instrumental works such as "Three Stacks of Yangguan" and "Xiao Drum in Sunset".In the process of theory and practice,he studied the national pentatonic mode,integrated and innovated the characteristics of folk music style and modern composition techniques,and made great contributions to the development of the ethnic music cause in China.This paper selects the six Li Yinghai’s vocal compositions which are performed in my personal mid-term concert.Firstly,I sort out the creation categories of Li Yinghai vocal works.Secondly I combine the personal singing practiceand and analyzed the breath,artistic conception,articulation,emotion and cavity according to the characteristics of different vocal works.Analyzed and sorted out the points that should be paid attention to when singing Li Yinghai’s vocal works.Finally,I comprehend and reflect on the singing of various songs of Li Yinghai.In order to contribute to the dissemination of Li Yinghai’s vocal music works,and provide a useful reference for others to learn to sing Li Yinghai’s vocal music works.
