Three Preludes,written by young composer Zhang Shuai in 1998,is an excellent Chinese work with jazz style.It won the second China Music Golden Bell Award in 2002 and was positioned as one of the required repertoires by the Organizing Committee of the Sixth China Music Golden Bell Award piano competition in 2007.It can be called the treasure of modern Chinese piano music.This work has high artistic achievements and research value.Firstly,this paper makes a brief overview of Zhang Shuai and the creative background of this work by using the method of literature research,combs the elements of Chinese national music and Western jazz music in the work,and analyzes how they integrate in the work to form a music work combining China and the West,Finally,combined with the method of practical research,this paper analyzes how to use various piano playing techniques to express the unique charm of this work.Through the discussion of the above three aspects,this paper hopes to have a deeper understanding of the creative techniques of this work,and hopes to play a role of help and reference for future players when playing this work.
