"Ahuan Story"-Creationand Design Practice Of Children’s Picture Books In Dai Paper-Cut Art Style

Nowadays,more and more parents pay attention to children’s early education.Picture books,as the first choice for early education,shape children’s spiritual world in a subtle way.However,judging from the development of children’s picture books market in China,most children’s picture books are imported from abroad,lacking local cultural style.On the road of looking for the design of Chinese original children’s picture books,we can try to integrate traditional art with children’s picture books to explore a development road of Chinese original picture books.Based on the development trend of children’s picture books at home and abroad and the shortcomings of original picture books in China,this paper,based on the dai paper-cut art culture,takes the integration of paper-cut art and children’s picture books as the research object,and explores the new development space of Traditional paper-cut art in China.The paper cutting style children’s picture books of Dai nationality are designed by literature review and investigation.First of all,through on-the-spot investigation in Dehong mangshi Dai area and visiting Shao Meihan,a non-genetic inheritor,to understand the local folk customs and the characteristics of the Dai paper-cutting art style,to extract the visual elements in the picture book,and to establish the "Ahuan story" orally passed down in the Dai area as the theme of the picture book story.Secondly,through data integration,we can understand the development of children’s picture books at home and abroad,analyze the application of Dai paper-cut art in children’s picture books,and position the paper-cut style design of children’s picture books.Finally,in the process of drawing,by analyzing the correlation between preschool children’s psychological characteristics and paper-cut style picture books,the color setting,role setting and scene setting are analyzed and studied.On the basis of perfecting the creation of picture books,carry out the design and practice of derivative products related to children,enrich the story content of picture books,and guide children to inherit Chinese traditional art and culture.
