Research On Wine Industry In Baoji During The Republic Of China

The wine industry in Baoji area has a long history and good development conditions.By the period of the Republic of China,the types of wine were mainly soju made by sorghum,which was widely used in people’s daily life.The increased demand and the good foundation of wine industry jointly promoted the development of wine industry in Baoji area,and played an important role in the regional economy.Baoji area in the west of Guanzhong,is a warm temperate subhumid climate,sufficient light and heat,Weihe water across the meantime,abundant water,diverse terrain,fertile soil,suitable for agricultural planting.Enough wine and grain raw materials and good water source provide a guarantee for the development of wine industry,but under the influence of various factors,the development of wine industry in Baoji during the Republic of China was slow.From the distribution of burning houses,mainly near the river,Longxian County and Qianyang County along the thousand river distribution,burning houses in Linyou County scattered,but are near the river,Fufeng County and Fengxiang County burning houses in the south of the territory,near the river and artificial canals,Baoji County,Qishan County,Mei County three places burning houses concentrated on both sides of the Wei River.From the point of wine production and marketing,brewing technology in the qing dynasty,not developed into mechanized production mode,wine production and management of scattered private burning,smaller,low production efficiency,limited production,and the backward transportation,simple packaging,wine sales scope is limited,until the longhai railway opened,began to replace packaging,advertising,to participate in various wine comparison and exhibition,sales market expanding.From the perspective of the management of the wine industry by the government of the Republic of China,mainly around the wine tax,promulgated a series of wine laws and regulations,and gradually established a unification But the various tax items and the increasing tax rate have become an important factor restricting the development of the wine industry in Baoji area.Current academic lack of systematic research of Baoji wine,based on this,the author from the perspective of historical geography,the period of the Republic of China as the investigation object,through local Chronicles,archives,traditional history,etc.,combined with the period of the Republic of China,from the raw materials,brewing skills,wine production and marketing,wine management of the period of the republic of China,trying to reproduce the overview of the wine.
