"March Peach Blossoms" is the lone ballad in the opera "The Long March" and it is one of the opera’s principal songs.The third act of the opera "The Long March" in which Gong Shuang performs Wan Xia’s solo version of "March Peach Blossoms" is the focus of this research,which examines it from three perspectives.The first portion examines and introduces the historical context of the opera "The Long March" as well as the character traits of the characters in the extract "March Peach Blossoms".The second section is an examination of the composition qualities of "March Peach Blossoms" which is examined from two perspectives: the piece’s structure and melodic characteristics.The third section examines "March Peach Blossoms" singing from three perspectives: singing abilities,emotional processing in singing,and personal experience with the piece.The study of "March Peach Blossoms" aids the author in improving his or her singing talents in terms of breath,tone,and body language expression,as well as providing a better analysis and singing method for future singing and research of other folk opera arias.At the same time,it allows the author to appreciate the unique charm of Chinese folk operas even more deeply,and I plan to learn more about such works in my future vocal studies in order to further my understanding of red revolutionary history and culture,as well as to provide some reference and reference for vocal learners.
