As a comprehensive stage art,opera integrates music,dance,literature and other forms of traditional arts and it originated in Europe.Since the western opera was introduced into China,it has stimulated tremendously on Chinese opera development.In the 1940 s and 1950 s,many domestic musicians began to explore the style of Chinese music,thus many good original pieces based on folk music elements were created.National Opera comes from life,but is beyond life.It composes the everyday life of Chinese in the form of art.To commemorate the 80 th anniversary of the victory of the long march of the Chinese workers’ and peasants’ Red Army,the National Grand Theater spent four years planning and arranging the grand launch of the opera Long March,composed by Yin Qing and written by Zou Jingzhi.The most classic song in the Long March is March peach blossom in heart.It not only plays a perfect narrative and lyrical role,but also functions as a musical clue to link the whole opera,which is of certain research significance and value.The thesis aims to elaborate on the analysis and research of March peach blossom in heart from three chapters.The first chapter is an overview of the creation background,plot and characters,practical significance of the opera Long March.The second chapter is an analysis of the musical structure,melody features,accompaniment features and lyrics features of the work March peach blossom in heart.The third chapter is a study of singing in terms of breath control,articulation,timbre treatment,characterization and emotional processing.The author hopes that through the analysis of the work,theory and practice can be combined to put in use in future performances.
