This paper takes the changing process of horse service in Shandong in the mid-Ming Dynasty as the breakthrough point, combined with the specific historical activities of the regional society,to explore the causes and consequences of the problem of horse service in Shandong. This paper pays attention to the specific activities and actual interests of different groups of people during the changing process of horse service,so as to find out the important nodes between the macro background and the micro life in the historical narrative, sort out the historical sections of different periods in general, and discuss The historical trend reflected in the background of horse service and social environment in Shandong in Ming Dynasty. In the Ming Dynasty,Mongolia was the most important threat to the Ming Dynasty. In order to resist the invasion of Mongolia, the Ming Dynasty vigorously developed cavalry troops and provided horses for the army to raise horses, which became a problem that the Ming Dynasty must pay attention to.Shandong was an important administrative region in the Ming Dynasty.Due to its special geographical location,Shandong became an area for people to raise horses in the Ming Dynasty. At the same time, the development of Shandong was in conflict with the imperial court’s policy of raising horses. As an important part of the horse administration of the Ming Dynasty, the horse service in Shandong changed with the development of Shandong, reflecting the contradictions in the actual operation of the horse administration in the Ming Dynasty. The Shandong Horse Campaign of the Ming Dynasty was initially set up in the fourth year of Xuande(1429),which stipulated that only the three western prefectures in Shandong kept horses, while the three east prefectures and Liaodong did not need to keep horses. This article takes the six prefectures under the Chief Secretary of Shandong, excluding the Liaodong Dusi as the research scope, and determines the number of horses raised in Shandong in the sixth year of Hongzhi(1493)as the basis for the horse service in Shandong.Because the civil servant horse system was a heavy labor in the Ming Dynasty, the west three prefectures were responsible for 30% of the country’s civilian horse breeding, but the east three prefectures did not have this errand. This seemingly unequal system design caused Shandong’s unique"horse administrion".battle".By restoring the activities of local officials, rural groups and other objects, this paper sorts out the context of the background of regional social development, and believes that the construction of Shandong horse campaigns in the Ming Dynasty was inseparable from regional social and economic development and the organization of both officials and civilians, which actually reflected the complex interests of their respective groups.need.The horse service dispute in Shandong was finally quelled through the reform of the horse administrion and the one whip law.The joint implementation of the two policies resulted in different results in two different areas in Shandong, east and west. The eastern part rejected the equal share of horse service, and the western part welcomed the reform of horse service and silver, and quickly promoted the "one whip law" as good governance. This kind of situation where the same policy is treated differently by different places is the result of cooperation or competition between the local and the state. When the interests of the two parties converge, the policy will be implemented;and when the interests of the two parties are too different, the policy will be distorted locally.,and is injected again with new content. |
