In the beginning of Ming dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang combined Station Farm system. Fubing System in military service, and built garrison system in China which was completed on the base of characteristics on station farms by self-supplying, soilders replenishment and hereditary military officers and noncommissioned officers. The garrison system was the foundation of military system in Ming Dynasty and every garrison was set in the military important location,which not only functioned as suppression and defense, but also was ruled by the central military governor office, therefore it was an effective military safeguard, controlled by imperial court and leading whole nation. There were 18 garrisons, in Shandong, Ming Dynasty, which were governed by army and government officers in Shandong province, which 3 garrisons were garrisons were governed by rear and Nanjing governor office. Among them, garrisons lying in the east of Shandong such as Qingzhou, Dengzhoou and Laizhou mainly prevented from Japanese aggression, whereas garrisons lying in the inland such as Jinan, Yanzhou and Dengchang mainly prevented from being stolen and worked on navigation. All garrisons in Shandong, Ming Dynasty closed to coastal zones and political center, so military garrisons undertook multiple responsibilities of prevention from Japanese aggression, being stolen and protection of navigation and capital. In view of the important location and responsibilities of garrisons in Shandong, Ming Dynasty, so on the one hand, the research on in can observe the responsibility undertook by local level military garrisons in Ming Dynasty, on the other hand, it also can go into the influence on political state in Shandong Region by consideration and discussion of garrisons uprising and recession.
