Narrative Research Of Intangible Cultural Heritage Documentary

With a long history and a wide range of subject matter,Changsha culture rap is a jewel in the world of opera with its distinctive traditional folklore flavour and strong cultural connotations of Hunan.Since Changsha culture rap was officially inscribed on the national list of intangible cultural heritage in 2008,its historical and cultural values have been further explored,protected and passed on.However,due to the impact of the fast-paced life in modern society and the emergence of new forms of entertainment,as an art passed down orally,it have inevitably fallen on hard times,with few people knows.As an integral part of Chinese folk culture,Changsha culture rap should be better preserved and disseminated.The documentary is a film and television art form that records and disseminates cultural phenomena through the use of non-fictional techniques and the acquisition of images and sound material directly from real life.The documentary can therefore vividly show the artistic charm and aesthetic value of Changsha culture rap,and plays an important role in the preservation and transmission of non-fiction culture.This thesis takes the documentary film on non-foreign heritage as its research object,and firstly summarises and analyses its narrative strategy.On this basis,the author of this thesis has integrated his appreciation and understanding of non-traditional art into the creation and interpretation of his personal work,"Play and Sing Emotion".In addition,the author digs deeper into the cultural meaning and spiritual core carried by the intangible cultural heritage art,and considers how the cultural lineage can be continued and inherited.The research is conducted in the following five parts:The first chapter is based on the practical and theoretical significance of this selection,examines the origins and compares the current state of research,explicates the research methods,analyzes the relevant concepts,and explores the innovation and novelty.The second chapter focuses on the textual narrative structure of intangible cultural heritage documentaries,exploring the expressions and effects of narrative subject,narrative plot and narrative layout in intangible cultural heritage documentaries.The third chapter examines the audiovisual narrative language of intangible cultural heritage documentaries,exploring the visual interpretation and content presentation of intangible cultural heritage documentaries from three aspects: visual construction,aural writing and montage editing,and showing their artistic and aesthetic implications.The forth chapter explains the conception of artistic techniques and the expression of conceptual ideas in the personal work "Play and Sing Emotion",Based on the theories of narrative structure and narrative language.While summarizing the creative experience and revelation,it also provides a rational creative summary and reflection.The last section discusses the narrative innovation and aesthetic development of intangible cultural heritage documentaries,and examines the limitations and shortcomings of the narrative strategies of intangible cultural heritage documentaries,with a view to providing a path for other intangible cultural heritage documentaries to learn from.
