Research On Urban Documentary And Urban Memory Construction

The emergence of cities is the symbol of human development and civilization,as well as the advanced form of human group life.City is a new and eternal research object with great value and full of challenges.Since the reform and opening up,China’s urbanization has developed rapidly,and the scale of urban construction and development has been expanding.However,the situation that urban buildings are all the same and urban memory is still there.The urban documentary focuses on the characteristic culture and humanistic spirit of the city,which plays an important role in displaying the charm of the city and constructing its memory.Based on the theory of urban memory,this thesis takes urban documentaries since the beginning of the new century as the research object,discusses the factors(basis),ways and defects of constructing urban memory of urban documentaries,in order to provide reference experience for the memory construction practice of urban documentaries.Development and to comb in memory theory,this thesis summarized the domestic urban memory research direction,the analysis of the present situation of new century city documentary production at home and abroad,from memory,image way,discusses three dimensions of domestic urban theme documentary film the path of the construction of city memory,memory construction ideas first consider immediate geographical space,affecting the formation of memory Local historical and cultural background,individual life experience and other factors;Secondly,the urban connotations expressed by landscape symbols,characters and symbolic events are selected.Finally,the special narrative perspective,multi-layer narrative line,real video data and memory writing of the media are used to construct urban memory.The practical work "Don’t Forget in Ju" focuses on the third and fourth tier coastal towns and uses micro-narration to reference and enrich the theory of constructing urban memory for city-themed documentaries.
