| Surrealist painting is an art school rising from France in the 20th century,which advocates depicting the artist’s dream or subconscious spiritual world.As one of the outstanding representatives of surrealist painting,Margaret’s painting language has its own unique artistic characteristics.This paper collects,analyzes,studies and summarizes the language characteristics of Margaret’s paintings in three aspects: singular reconstruction,use of color and symbolic image symbols.Based on the reconstruction of pictures,colors and image symbols,the author applies Magritte’s painting language to his own creative practice through learning and reference in the creation of the Communication series,and explores strange and rational visual aesthetics.At the same time,the author conducts innovative research and applies new materials to the creation,showing the special beauty of the combination of painting language and materials.An in-depth understanding of Magritte and the language features of surrealist paintings will lay a more solid foundation for future artistic creation. |
