Animal documentaries are one of the most popular documentaries,and the ecological values contained in them are of great significance to the sustainable development of human society.Humanities animal documentaries are a branch of animal documentaries.The conflict or interdependence between humans and animals are important issues related to the rights of other life on earth.Humans must face these issues squarely.Ethics belongs to the category of morality.Like other moral issues,ethics,as a code of conduct,does not have a set of fixed standards.It is a collection of people’s recognized codes of conduct,including dealing with people and people,people and society,and people and nature.Guidelines for the relationship.Research on documentaries cannot avoid discussing ethical issues alone.Correctly handling ethical issues in documentaries will help creators and audiences to correctly understand the world.The ethical issues of humanistic animal documentaries revolve around its two types of subjects-humans and animals.A correct understanding of the status and value of these two types of subjects can help humans establish correct values for treating people and nature.The main body of the thesis is divided into three parts.The first part first discusses the overall ethical issues of documentaries,and comprehensively introduces the ethical issues of documentaries at the theoretical level.First of all,it points out that the core issue of morality is to deal with the relationship between human beings,human beings and society,and human beings and nature.At the same time,it introduces the reality that the ethical issues of documentary films are becoming increasingly prominent,so as to draw out the importance of studying the ethical issues of documentary films.Secondly,it introduces the relationship between various ethical subjects of documentary,including the relationship between the creator and the filmed,the receiver and the media organization.Finally,some ethical principles recognized in the documentary industry are introduced: truth principle,responsibility principle,fairness and justice principle and privacy principle.The second part introduces the ethical issues of the humanistic animal documentaries that this paper mainly studies.Firstly,the characteristics of humanistic animal documentaries are introduced in detail from the concept,development process and basic characteristics of humanistic animal documentaries.Then,it compares the creation theories of Chinese and Western humanistic animal documentaries,mainly from three aspects: animal groups,human existence,and emotional attitudes.Finally,the ethical particularity of humanistic animal documentaries is expounded from the two aspects of the rights that animals should enjoy and people’s emotional and moral care for animals.The last part describes the shooting ethics and narrative ethics of the documentary itself.Shooting ethics is the grasp of shooting behavior,including the construction of the ethical relationship between the photographer and the shooting object(human,animal),and the true principles that should be reflected in the shooting.Narrative ethics is the grasp of documentary form and content.Formal ethics refers to the narrative structure,narrative methods and narrative perspectives of documentaries;content ethics is the intrinsic values of documentaries.The value connotation of humanistic animal documentaries is usually the ecological ethics that promotes the harmonious coexistence of man and nature.This article combines humanistic animal documentaries with ethical issues for research,and intends to explore the ethical principles and moral norms that should be observed in the creation of this type of documentary,hoping that this will cause people to have a relationship between humans and animals,and between humans and nature.Thinking about how to get along with each other,I hope this article can provide support for the research of humanistic animal documentaries and contribute to the promotion of good ecological development.
