| Myths have the cultural profoundness and connotation of all ethnic groups,which is also the most basic and primitive spiritual core in the cultural chain handed down from generation to generation.Zhuang,Thai and Dai ethnic groups are ancient rice farmers,there are diverse rice myths spread far and wide among these ethnic groups.This paper mainly makes a systematic analysis of Zhuang’s Thai’s and the Dai’s rice myths,by using the structuralism theory of Claude Levi-Strauss.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction,introduces the reasons for choosing this topic,research ideas and methods,and sorts out the current research status at home and abroad.In the second part,the rice myths are divided into three categories: rice origin myths,rice shape myths,rice soul or rice god myths.The third part extracts and analyzes twenty pairs of opposing mythemes including gathering and planting,beasts and domestic animals,gods and mortals,individuals and groups,estranged and harmonious and so on.The fourth part is the structural analysis of the rice myths of Zhuang,Tai and Dai ethnic groups.To begin with,we summarize the contradictions between life and death,collect and planting,hunting and husbandry based on the extraction of mythemes.Next,the structure of mythemes are replaced to obtain the ethical relationship between man and nature and between man and society.The final analysis explains due to the different cultural soil,there are some differences in rice myths between the Zhuang,Tai and Dai ethnic groups.The fifth part is the conclusion.Through the above five parts,this paper analyses the rice myth of Zhuang,Thai and Dai ethnic groups,and reveals the deep meaning of myth and the original thinking mode.On the one hand,it provides a new perspective for the study of the Zhuang,the Thai and the Dai myths,on the other hand,it also provides specific research cases for comparative mythology. |
