Research And Analysis On The Performance Skills Of Glinka’s Harp Works

"Variations on a theme of Mozart" and "Nocturne" are two harp pieces composed by Mikhail Glinka(1804-1857),which contain a variety of harp playing techniques and are classic works for learning harp performance.This paper takes Glinka’s "Variations on a theme of Mozart" and "Nocturne" as the main research objects,and makes a detailed analysis from the two aspects of harp performance techniques and work performance skills,mainly including three parts.The first is to study and sort out Glinka’s life and the creation of his harp works through the research and analysis of the existing materials;The performance techniques included in the harp works are integrated and classified and analyzed in detail;at the same time,a supplementary introduction to the performance techniques that are not involved in the two works reflects the richness of the harp performance techniques;the third is"Variations on a theme of Mozart" and "Nocturne"as Examples,based on actual performance,conduct an in-depth analysis of the performance skills of two works one by one,and explore the musical style of Glinka’s harp works.Based on the existing research results and according to the practical playing experience,the author discusses the playing skills of Variations on a theme of Mozart and Nocturne.It is hoped that through the study of the performance of the Glinka’s harp works,the two songs can be better interpreted,reflecting the performance value of Glinka’s harp works from various perspectives.
