Zhao Zhiqian’s Official Script And Its Contemporary Value

Zhao Zhiqian is a representative artist in the middle and late Qing Dynasty.He has high attainments in calligraphy,painting and printing,and his calligraphy has both seal script,li script,kai script and line four style and has his own personal style.The integration of his official script into the writing style of Bei Bei opened up a new way of official script writing.This paper takes Zhao Zhiqian’s official script as the main research content: The first chapter analyzes and argues zhao Zhiqian’s official script style.Firstly,it summarizes Zhao Zhiqian’s style in the historical background.Secondly,it discusses his taking and learning from han Dynasty tablet inscription,Beibei tablet calligraphy and Deng Shilu’s official script.Then it compares the style of Zhao Zhiqian’s official script with that of the calligraphers of the same era.The second chapter mainly analyzes the spirit of The Times in the style innovation of Zhao Zhiqian’s official script,and then summarizes his aesthetic view of official script.The third chapter focuses on zhao Zhiqian’s influence on contemporary art.Firstly,it analyzes the artistic styles of the works in the first to the fourth Official script exhibitions in China.Secondly,from the study of zhao Zhiqian’s official script style works in the contemporary calligraphy exhibition,the acceptance of Zhao Zhiqian’s official script in the contemporary calligraphy exhibition,as well as some limitations in the creation of fixed mode.Then,to break through the existing problems,that is,the extension of Zhao Zhiqian’s official script style creation innovation.Finally,the author discusses the enlightenment to Zhao Zhiqian’s study of official script based on his own creation practice.Zhao Zhiqian’s official script combined the style of han tablet and Bei Tablet,and broke away from the study of calligraphers of the same period,thus forming his own unique calligraphy style,which had a profound impact on the development of modern official script.However,most of the contemporary calligrapher who studied Zhao Zhiqian’s official script only studied his official script on the surface,without really realizing that the innovative spirit reflected in Zhao Zhiqian’s official script style is more worthy of our study and study.
