Chinese calligraphy and painting has also had great changes. For the introduction of epigraphy, Chinese calligraphy and painting had been injected new vigor. There are many art history scholars who pay attention to this epigraphy interesting.Zhao Zhiqian was one of the most representative artists during the late period of Qing Dynasty. He was the first artist who successfully put the calligraphy, paintings and seal into one harmoniously. He was also the pioneer who blended the calligraphy into Chinese art.Now, there are plenty studies on the paintings of Zhao Zhiqian. But we still needs further study on his works of art in epigraphy interesting which is how to create, and how to spread.This paper is divided into three parts. The first part gives emphasis on the changes of style of Zhao Zhiqian's calligraphy and painting when he lived in Beijing. Through the collecting and assorting of the studying achievements, we can recognize the development of Zhao Zhiqian's art. And we can find the epigraphy interesting in it by analyzing the works concretely. The second part is to deeply study on when and where epigraphy interesting formation in Zhao Zhiqian's works. This part also focuses on Zhao Zhiqian's friends in Beijing. They had different influences.
