A Comparison Of Marx’s And Steiner’s Views On Freedom

Everyone yearns for freedom.The discussion on the concept of freedom has always been a crucial issue in the philosophical circle,especially in the face of the complex situation of modern society,freedom is an inevitable topic.How to define "freedom",how to establish a scientific and reasonable concept of freedom,and how to ensure our "free time" are also of great significance to the development of the current society.Therefore,the research on the concept of freedom is worth further deepening.Taking the early German social school "real socialism" as the background,this paper combs the various hazards and disadvantages of German Society pointed out by the "real socialists" represented by Hess.From the study of German national policies and people’s living conditions at that time,this paper expounds Marx and Steiner’s criticism of "real socialism" in early Germany,and leads to their view of freedom.By comparing the two views of freedom,this paper extracts what Steiner’s thought is worthy of reference,so as to better understand and enrich Marxism.In addition,this paper studies anarchism and Marxism derived from the two views of freedom to discuss their impact on future generations,especially in the early days of the founding of new China,and trigger deep thinking about the future.Therefore,from the unique perspective of German Socialism,it is also more conducive for us to understand the realistic background of the development of Marx and Steiner’s view of freedom.In order to change the oppressed real world of the people,Marx combined theory with practice,not only revealed the problem of freedom in theory,tried to explore and actively create the conditions and paths of development,but also regarded the practice of realizing human freedom and liberation as a lifelong belief.We can say that the establishment of Marx’s view of freedom is not confined to the previous people’s thoughts,especially the limitations and fantasy of historical idealism.He opened up a new vision on the basis of historical materialism.On the basis of giving consideration to history and reality,Marx established great historical materialism.In addition,we can’t totally deny Steiner’s view of freedom.Steiner’s unique contribution to the issue of freedom is that he overturned the traditional understanding of the word "freedom" in the past and explained "freedom" by criticizing early German Socialism.With Steiner’s unique interpretation of freedom and the criticism and inheritance of Steiner’s view of freedom by thinkers such as Marx and Engels,the problem of freedom has been paid more and more attention by more and more people.In the past,scholars’ research on Steiner’s view of freedom mostly focused on the interpretation of the concept of "I".Although "I" is an important topic in Steiner’s thought,it is more important to study the root of this concept,that is,the social situation behind it.Therefore,focusing on the research of early German socialism will help us better understand the reasons for Steiner’s view of freedom,more effectively excavate the specific image of "I" and how "I"accurately acts on consciousness and material society.This is a good supplement to Steiner’s philosophical thought system.However,in the literature available at present,researchers only study the influence of German Socialism,Marx and Steiner’s view of freedom,anarchism and Marxism on the initial stage of China’s establishment in isolation,and do not connect them and explore the internal relationship.There is also a lack of such relevant literature.In addition,because Steiner,Hess and other philosophers have been criticized by Marx at length,some researchers also unilaterally deny their value,so their unique thoughts and views are ignored.Therefore,while stating Marx’s criticism of real socialism,Steiner and Hess,we should also point out the part where he absorbs Hess and Steiner’s actions and thoughts.The above problems are worthy of our in-depth thinking and research.
