A New Trend In Gender Relations In The Tang Dynasty From The Perspective Of Gender

The family is the cell of society,is the smallest social unit,and the marriage relationship is the premise of the establishment of family relations,marriage is composed of men and women,gender equality and liberation issues have always been a hot issue in society,no matter which country or era,gender relations do not only exist within the family,but the cornerstone of the entire social relationship.In Chinese history,the Tang Dynasty is an unprecedented era of great national integration,open prosperity is synonymous with the Tang Dynasty,the academic circles generally believe that the Tang Dynasty is one of the dynasties with the highest female status in Chinese history,the relationship between the sexes in this period also has different characteristics from other dynasties.This article from the sociological perspective,the Tang Dynasty Dunhuang folk lyrics and other documents for reinterpretation and analysis,analysis of the characteristics of the Tang Dynasty gender relations,the way of expression and the social consciousness presented,It provides a new research perspective for the study of Dunhuang folk lyrics and the marriage and family relationships they show.This paper adopts the method of literature research.takes "The Chief Editor of Folk lyrics of Dunhuang"(《敦煌歌辞总编》)edited by Mr.Ren Bantang as the main analysis text,tries to restore the social picture at that time through the text,and explores the development trend of the relationship between the sexes at that time.The article defines the main concepts of "gender","gender" and "Dunhuang folk lyrics",and summarizes the relevant research results from three aspects:text research,research on gender relations in the Tang Dynasty,and research on the social life history of the Tang Dynasty.By sorting out the gender relationship model in Chinese society in the past.it is found that from the pre-Qin period to the Wei and Jin Dynasties,the gender relationship in Chinese society has experienced a process from primitive equality to patriarchal supremacy.During the Jin Dynasty,due to social turmoil and imbalance,men’s control over women loosened.which also laid a social and ideological foundation for the rise of women’s status in the Tang Dynasty.The new cognition and trend of gender relations in the Tang Dynasty are mainly reflected in the expression of women’s voice,changes in family roles,and gender equality under the contract system.The changes of gender relations in China in the Tang Dynasty had far-reaching historical influences,had extensive sociological significance,and provided many valuable inspirations and references for gender equality and women’s liberation.
