On The Application Of Timbre In The Characterization Of Chinese National Opera

In Chinese national opera,the quality of characterization has a vital impact on an opera,and the timbre of singing is an important means of characterization.Different characters need us to adjust the timbre properly,so as to make the characterization of characters richer and fuller.This requires singers to deeply grasp the scientific vocal skills,deeply understand the connotation and character image characteristics of the work,combine the singing skills with the content of the work,and use the timbre in line with the characteristics of opera characters to create a real and moving character image.This paper takes the use of timbre in the characterization of Chinese national opera as the research theme,and takes the role of "white cloud" in the opera "pathetic dawn" as an example,which is analyzed and discussed in four parts.They are:introduction;The first chapter is the relationship between timbre and singing skills;The second chapter is the diversified application of timbre in the characterization of national opera;The third chapter analyzes the timbre application in the image shaping of"Baiyun" in Chinese national opera.The main part of the paper includes the following main points:1、This paper expounds the relationship between timbre and singing skills,and explains the singing skills of changing timbre by studying the relationship between timbre and breath,voice,resonance and language;2、Examples are given to illustrate the diversified use of timbre in the shaping of different characters in national opera,mainly focusing on the use of timbre of characters with different backgrounds,ages,personalities and emotions;3、Combined with the literature results and their own practice,this paper analyzes the timbre application in the image shaping of "Baiyun" in the Chinese national opera "Pathetique dawn",and explores the important role and singing skills of timbre in the image shaping of characters through the specific analysis of the timbre of the three classic aria of "Baiyun".
