As a representative of literary space studies,Gaston Bachelard(1 884-1962)took the lead in the independent exploration of space research in the field of literature and art in the 1950s.He introduced spatial discourse into literary criticism through theoretical interpretation of spatial poetics.Taking poetic space as the place of human being’s true existence reveals the significance of space’s existence, shelter and habitation, and exerts an extremely important influence on the later exploration of social space, becoming one of the theoretical pioneers in promoting "space turn".In the paper, the space of assorted la poetics as the research object,to comb the theory source and philosophical background, analysis, and discusses,on the basis of the core of his space poetics theory, and discusses bashkortostan, focus on "inner space" space for foucault focus on poetics theory "outer space" theory of space the important influence,This paper analyzes the development of Foucault’s space theory under the influence of Bachelard and discusses the theoretical significance and value of Bachelard’s space poetics. This paper consists of three parts:introduction, text and conclusion. The introduction part of the paper introduces Gaston Bachelard and his works, discusses the research status of the space poetics and analyzes the shortcomings of existing relevant researches, and expounds the research objectives and structure of the paper. The main body of the paper is composed of the following three chapters. The first chapter discusses the ideological origin and of Bachelard’s space poetics. His space poetics is deeply influenced by the western traditional space concepts. It reviews the western space concepts before Bachelard in stages, including the western ancient space concepts, western modern space concepts and western modern space concepts. Then,it discusses the philosophical basis of Bachelard’s shift from science to poetics, namely scientific epistemology. The second chapter explains the core theory of Bachelard’s space poetics. This chapter focuses on the three core theories of Bachelard’s space poetics to analyze and explain the deep connotation of Bachelard’s space poetics and grasp the internal logic of Bachelard’s space poetics.Firstly, the philosophical basis of Bachelard’s space poetics is discussed, that is,the imagination view of the unity of matter and poetry.Secondly, focusing on the space images in Bachelard’s works, the poetics connotation of the images under different themes is explored by explaining the space images of house, bird’s nest, shell, drawer, box and cabinet respectively. Finally,it explores the dialectics of space presented by Bachelard’s poetics of space.Bachelard uses phenomenological methods to analyze the spatial image of happiness and imagination. The third chapter explores the theoretical significance and value of Bachelard’s poetics of space.First,it discusses the pioneering significance of Bachelard’s The Poetics of Space and analyzes the uniqueness and aesthetic value of his poetics of space research. On the one hand.Bachelard’s poetics of space research has the tendency of "interior".On the other hand,Bachelard’s poetics of space research has the unique aesthetic significance, poetry is the material basis of bashara’s interpretation of space by using phenomenological methods.Secondly, foucault’s space theory under the influence of Bachelard has an obvious"external" orientation, which is in harmony with Bachelard’s space thought of "internal spiritual space",so as to discuss the profound influence of Bachelard’s space poetics on the later space theory. Finally,Bachelard’s analysis and interpretation of the image of family house in his space poetics not only shows his inheritance and development of Heidegger’s space concept, but also shows that the transcendence of home image to dwelling theory. In the conclusion part of the paper, based on the vision of contemporary poetics, the author thinks that Bachelard’s poetics of space may become a good solution to solve the problems of contemporary cities, and discusses the shortcomings of Bachelard’s poetics of space and the direction of our next efforts. |
