As an important part of Chinese traditional art and culture,folk art has the basic characteristics of national culture.For thousands of years,folk art has condensed the wisdom of the Chinese working people with its profound national cultural heritage.In the 21st century today,the rapid development of science and technology and the richness and diversity of culture makes the development of folk art facing challenges,how to protect and inherit our traditional art becomes an important issue,this thesis mainly takes the inheritance and innovation as the main research object,from the author’s own art teaching experience to analyze the folk art learning and inheritance,through the painting analysis of folk art elements,to apply to the painting creation.And through the education and teaching of folk art and painting creation,to explore future teaching methods and development ways.For a long time,there are many works that borrow from and use folk art in the painting creation.Since the introduction of oil painting into China,painters have also begun to try to collide and integrate Chinese and Western art,"folk art" elements appear in a variety of works such as Chinese painting,oil painting,lacquer painting,comprehensive materials and other forms of art,through different forms of artistic expression to reflect the charm of Chinese folk art.The main research content of this article is divided into four parts:The first part is "the basic concept and main connection between folk art and folk art education in primary and secondary schools".It starts from sorting out the situation of folk art,primary and secondary school art education and Weifang area folk art,so as to provide theoretical and material support for the subsequent analysis and research.The second part is "the important role of folk art in the development of art education in primary and secondary schools".This part mainly discusses the theoretical and practical role of folk art in art education in primary and secondary schools,so as to explain the current situation,development and future development of school art education.On the one hand,it discusses the important role of folk art in art education in primary and secondary schools through the perspective of educational theory;on the other hand,it learns the teaching methods from the excellent examples of folk art,transforms folk art from educational theory into teaching practice,and expresses the artistic charm of folk art in the form of art teaching.The thesis analyzes the current situation of education from the perspectives of schools,teachers and students,combined with actual classroom cases to study and reflect.The third part is "Realization path and prospect of integrating folk art education into art education in primary and secondary schools",it firstly analyzes the path and future development of folk art and secondary art education,then discusses the relationship between folk art and art creation,and get the importance of folk art,especially for primary and middle school students education,it is not only the improvement of art quality related content,but also for the cultivation of pride and patriotism towards Chinese traditional culture.The fourth part is "the expression and attempt of folk art in creation".The author analyzes the painter’s reference and application of folk art elements in creation through painting works,to express her cognition and understanding of folk art with oil painting.In the painting creation,she constantly tries to summarize and complete her own painting creation.This thesis takes the teaching practice of folk art in Weifang as an example to explore the current teaching strategies and methods in art teaching,and enriches the needs of art education through the teaching practice and painting creation of folk art to explore the needs of diversified teaching methods.In the teaching process of the author,she also deeply feel that folk art is not only an art form,but also the artistic soul of the Chinese nation.
