Children’s emotional regulation competence is the awareness of the occurrence of their own emotions and internal experience,so as to timely express their own emotions and have an active reflection on the outside world.Children’s emotional regulation competence plays a vital role in promoting children’s physical and mental health,and its development is affected by many factors,and Parental rearing is the direct influencing factor.Previous studies have improved parenting styles to promote the development of children’s emotional regulation competence,but in the actual parenting practice,affected by the stability and difficult operation of parenting styles,the effect is not ideal.Parental psychological flexibility means that parents accept their negative thoughts,emotions and impulses towards their children in the process of raising their children,but still provide more possibilities for the development of emotion regulation competence according to the ability of effective parenting behavior.In addition,children’s emotion regulation competence will be affected by parenting sense of competence.Based on the relevant research,this paper further studies the relationship mechanism among parental psychological flexibility,parenting sense of competence and children’s emotion regulation competence.This paper mainly includes the following two studies:In Study 1,Using SPSS22.0 and AMOS22.0,exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis was conducted to test the reliability and validity of the Parental Acceptance Questionnaire.The research conclusions are as follows:Revise the questionnaire of parents’ acceptance,which includes six dimensions: acceptance,cognitive defusion,being present,self as context,values and committed action.The questionnaire has good internal consistency reliability,structural validity,criterion validity and model fitting index.In Study 2,the research uses "Parenting Sense of Competence scale","emotion Regulation Checklist" and self-revised "Parental acceptance questionnaire" to make an empirical study was conducted on the current situation and relationship between parental psychological flexibility,parenting sense of competence and children’s emotional regulation competence.The data were analyzed by SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 22.0.The conclusions are as follows:(1)Parent psychological flexibility differs significantly across children’s grades.The acceptance,cognitive defusion,and values in the sub-dimensions of parental psychological flexibility differed significantly by whether for one-child.(2)Parenting sense of competence varies significantly by child grade and parent educational level.(3)A positive relationship was found between parental psychological flexibility,parenting sense of competence and children’s emotion regulation competence.(4)Parenting sense of competence plays a mediating role between the parental psychological flexibility and children’s emotion regulation competence. |
