Due to the comprehensive influence of different factors in the process of music development,there will be different styles and different schools of music works.Therefore,how to accurately grasp the differences between the works,objectively restore the style of the work itself needs careful study by the performers.In the artistic practice of music performance students,it is often necessary to deal with different types of vocal music works.In the process of "second creation",the first problem for singers is to grasp the singing styles of different works.In order to better interpret the unique artistic style of each work,create a more distinct musical image.This paper takes the works of Bellini and Cournot,composers of the same romantic period in the 19 th century--as an example.The two composers are in different countries and have different artistic traditions,but choose the same tragic work--Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet as literary script,and complete the opera creation of the same subject.In the opera stage,Bellini’s Italian opera "Capulet and Montague" and Cournot’s French lyric opera "Romeo and Juliet" are all classic works,among which,Juliet is also a lyric soprano in the study of opera works will be exposed.Therefore,in the process of learning,how to accurately grasp and interpret the differences between Bellini and Cournot Juliet’s singing style has become the first problem to be solved.Based on this background,this paper can grasp the difference of Juliet’s character image in the two operas by combing the creative background of Capulet and Montague and Romeo and Juliet,and making a comparative analysis to help the author to carry out artistic practice.
