Vincenzo Bellini(1801-1835)was one of the three Italian opera masters in the first half of the 19 th century,who were in line with Rossini and Donizetti.His musical language had a great influence on many composers 'music creation,and it could be regarded as a romantic opera in terms of characterization and melody methods.In this paper,the musical language and singing treatment of Giulietta in Vincenzo Bellini's opera Capuleti and Montecchi are studied.Firstly,the background of the whole opera is analyzed,and the dramatic expression of the protagonist Juliet is deeply explored.Then with Juliet's aria Ah! How many times does it make an analysis of the musical characteristics,which is explored from three aspects.First,the melody line,the aria is a typical Bellini-style lyric,a sentence needs a lot of breath support,and the melody of the colorful place fully reflects the high difficulty of the beautiful vocal section.Secondly,harmony color,the change of harmony color in this work is dramatic.In the contrast section,the change of harmony will occur dramatically,and the corresponding detailed analysis is made mainly for the change of harmony.Third,Lyric expression,the song is divided into three sections,the first two are narrative,the third part is aria,Lyric expression is also progressive layer by layer,fully demonstrating the dramatic character.Finally,on the basis of music analysis,the singing is analyzed.The author divides it into three points to discuss.First,grasp the key points of music and make basic analysis according to the requirements of spectrum.Secondly,from the perspective of singing techniques,the use of breath in music and the accuracy of lyrics,a comprehensive analysis is made.Third,from the image of the characters,with the basis of the first two points,in-depth excavation of the dramatic connotation of the characters,how to start from the protagonist role itself to sing the work.
