| In recent years,the theoretical study of well-being has been gradually extended to the fields of management and organizational behavior due to the influence of positive organizational behavior subject,which is reflected in the practice that the organization pays more attention to the job well-being of employees.Looking at the existing academic research,higher job well-being not only has stronger job satisfaction,higher job performance,more positive behaviors and work results,but also promotes employees’ job innovation and knowledge sharing.In today’s fierce competitive environment,global work has undergone transformation,including increased work intensity and continuous organizational change.Lower mental health level and increased work pressure of employees are considered as emerging risk factors of occupational health in western countries.From the phenomenon of increasing illness death and suicide of employees in the workplace in recent years,we can know that China is not exception.Based on the importance of job well-being to the organization and the low job well-being of employees in the general environment,it is necessary for researchers in the field to develop a simple and effective tool to improve employees’ job well-being.Based on the perspective of positive ruminant thinking,this study develops an expressive writing intervention program suitable for domestic employees(referred to as"expressive writing intervention from the perspective of positive ruminant"),so as to enhance the job well-being of contemporary employees through the implementation of the program.In this intervention study,the experimental group(N=21)and the control group(N=24)were designed with pre-and post-test experiments,in which the experimental group took positive events and negative events at work as the theme,and carried out "positive rumination of negative events" and "positive rumination of positive events",while the control group did not do any treatment,and the following research results were obtained through eight times of expressive writing intervention in four weeks:(1)Expressive writing intervention from the perspective of positive ruminant can reduce employees’ negative ruminant thinking,and its effect still exists after two weeks of intervention.(2)Taking employees’ job involvement and job burnout as predictors of job wellbeing,expressive writing intervention from the perspective of positive ruminant can improve employees’job well-being.Specifically,expressive writing intervention from the perspective of positive ruminant can improve employees’ focus on work,reduce emotional exhaustion and cynicism brought by work,and enhance their well-being experience at work.Therefore,workers can take expressive writing from the perspective of positive rumination as a strategy to deal with work events,so as to reduce the negative impact of work events on individuals and their lives,and enhance their work happiness. |
