Purpose:Through observing and analyzing the clinical manifestations,BMI,serum hormones, blood lipids and efficiency rate of polycystic ovary syndrome combined with dyslipidemia before and after treatment,we explore the mechanism and scientificity of the effect of Inhibiting Cyst and Reducing Lipid Soup on PCOS combined with dyslipidemia in phlegm and dampness, and provide new thinking for the clinical treatment of this disease.Material and method:Patients who met the diagnostic criteria of PCOS with Phlegm and Dampness combined with abnormal lipid metabolism were included in this pilot study,a total of 64 patients were divided into a pilot group and a control group. The control group was treated with deferiprone, while the treatment group was treated with deferiprone combined with Chinese herbal medicine to suppress cystic fat reduction soup. Both groups were observed and treated for 3 menstrual cycles.During the trial, the clinical efficiency, the difference in the TCM syndrome score, the changes in BMI,WHR,the hormone LH/FSH ratio and lipid metabolism of the two groups were recorded and analysed. After the treatment, the patients were followed up for 3 months to compare the differences in TCM symptom scores and menstrual disorders between the two groups.Results:1 Baseline comparisonThere was no statistical difference between the two groups in terms of age and disease duration in general(P > 0.05);the observed indexes such as BMI,WHR,LH/FSH ratio and lipid TG,TC,HDL-C and LDL-C before treatment were not statistically different between the two groups(P > 0.05),and the distribution of patients in the two groups was balanced and comparable.2 Comparison of clinical efficacy and TCM syndrome scoreThe total effective rate of the control group was 75.0%,while the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.8%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05)after comparison. After treatment, the Chinese medicine evidence points of both groups showed a decreasing trend, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),and the treatment group was lower than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).3 Comparison of BMI and WHRThe BMI and WHR of the treatment group decreased significantly after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);the BMI and WHR of the control group did not change significantly compared with those before treatment, and the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).In the comparison between the two groups after treatment, the BMI and WHR of the treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05).4 Comparison of LH/FSHAfter treatment, the ratio of LH/FSH decreased in both groups, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);compared between groups, the treatment group decreased significantly compared with the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).5 Comparison of blood lipid TG,TC,HDL-C and LDL-CThe difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),although LDL-C decreased, the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05);in the control group,TC levels decreased and HDL-C levels increased after treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05),TG did not decrease and LDL-C The difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05);compared between groups,TG and TC in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and HDL-C levels were higher than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05),LDL-C levels in the treatment group were slightly lower than those in the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).6 Safety evaluationA total of 64 study subjects were included in this trial study and none of them showed any abnormal vital signs such as dyspnoea, panic, palpitations or shock during the 3-month treatment cycle, which proved the accuracy and safety of this trial study.7 Comparison of follow-up period7.1 Comparison of the TCM syndrome scoresDuring the follow-up period, the TCM syndrome score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05);after the control entered the follow-up period, the TCM syndrome score showed an increasing trend, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).7.2 Comparison of menstrual disordersThe proportion of menstrual disorders was 18.8% in the treatment group and78.1% in the control group during the follow-up period. The proportion of menstrual disorders in the control group was significantly higher than that in the treatment group, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.Capsular Lipid Reducing Soup can effectively improve the TCM syndrome score and clinical efficacy of patients with PCOS combined with dyslipidemia due to phlegm and dampness, and its efficacy is more stable than that of dydrogesterone alone.2.Capsular Lipid Reduction Soup can reduce body weight,BMI and WHR,improve body fat content and change the distribution of body fat in patients with PCOS combined with abnormal lipid metabolism due to phlegm and dampness;regulate the level of sex hormone LH/FSH to restore the disordered endocrine system in patients with PCOS;regulate the index of blood lipid metabolism to improve the level of blood lipid in patients.3.After three months’ follow-up after treatment, the Cystic Lipid Suppressing and Reducing Soup continued to improve the clinical symptoms of TCM and bring into play the therapeutic effects of TCM even after discontinuation of the medicine;the proportion of menstrual disorders was significantly lower than that of the Didrogestrel group, which could regulate the menstrual cycle more effectively and prevent the recurrence of the disease.4.No adverse reactions occurred during the treatment period, with a higher safety level.
