| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Apoplexy Progressives prescription in treating progressive posterior circulation cerebral infarction with phlegm and stasis blocking collaterality, and to explore its influencing mechanism for further guiding clinical practice. Methods:A total of 60 patients with acute progressive ischemic stroke in the area of posterior circulation for the first time in the Department of Neurology of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January to December 2021 were randomly divided into control group and observation group with 30 patients in each group. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine, including anti-platelet aggregation, lipid regulation and plaque stabilization, improvement of cerebral circulation, blood pressure regulation, blood glucose regulation and other symptomatic treatments. The treatment group was additionally treated with stroke progression formula for intervention on the basis of the control group.TCM syndrome score,NIHSS score and m RS score were calculated on admission,1d,7d and 14 d,respectively.Platelet count, low density lipoprotein, triglyceride and cholesterol were counted on the first day of admission and 14 days after treatment.Adverse reactions were monitored and recorded during treatment. After treatment, the total effective rate was calculated.Results:(1)One day after admission, the TCM symptom score,NIHSS score and m RS score of the two groups were higher than those at admission(P <0.05),and the increase in the control group was more obvious than that in the observation group; After 7 and 14 days of treatment, the TCM symptom score,NIHSS score and m RS score of the two groups were lower than those one day after admission(P < 0.05),and the decrease was more obvious in the observation group than in the control group(P < 0.05);(2)After 14 days of treatment, the platelet count, low density lipoprotein, triglyceride and cholesterol counts in the observation group and the control group decreased significantly compared with the first day of admission(P < 0.05),and the observation group decreased more significantly than the control group(P <0.05);(3)The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P < 0.05).Conclusion:(1)Apoplexy progressive prescription has definite clinical effect on progressive posterior circulation cerebral infarction of phlegm and blood stasis blocking collaterals type;(2)Apoplexy progressive prescription can effectively reduce the score of TCM clinical syndrome,NIHSS score and m RS score, and effectively reduce the counts of platelet, low density lipoprotein, triglyceride and cholesterol, with high safety and no obvious adverse reactions;(3)Combined with apoplexy progressive prescription in the treatment of progressive posterior circulation cerebral infarction can more effectively prevent the acute progression of cerebral infarction and improve the clinical prognosis of patients, which is worthy of clinical promotion. |
