On the basis of consulting a large number of relevant literature and data and analyzing the research status of planters at home and abroad,aiming at the agronomic requirements of sorghum,based on the physical characteristics of sorghum seeds,this paper designs a hand-held air suction sorghum precision planter by means of theoretical analysis and experimental verification.The specific contents are as follows:(1)Taking Suiza 7,the main planting variety in Heilongjiang Province,as the research object,its basic size parameters were found out;Through sorghum seed compression,the relationship between moisture content,compression orientation and compressive performance and the way of seed crack after compression are explored.The test results provide a reference for the design of main components of sorghum seed metering device.(2)Through the force analysis of seeds in the process of seed filling and seed dropping,the balance equation is established,and the component parameters of seed metering device and the main factors affecting the working performance of seed metering device are determined.Combined with the physical characteristics of sorghum seeds,the value ranges of profiling hole diameter of seed metering disk and vacuum degree of negative pressure chamber are obtained.The solution of this problem provides a theoretical basis for the determination of test factors and value range in the bench test of seed metering device.(3)According to the research results of the theoretical analysis of seed filling,the diameter of the profiling hole of the seed metering disc,the vacuum degree of the negative pressure chamber,the seed dropping height and the rotating speed of the seed metering device were selected as the test factors,and the qualification rate,replay rate and missed seeding rate were used as the test indexes to carry out the single factor test,and the main influencing factors and variation range were determined;Taking the diameter of the profiling hole of the seed metering disc,the vacuum degree of the negative pressure chamber and the rotating speed of the seed metering device as the experimental factors,the quadratic orthogonal rotation combination test was carried out,and the primary and secondary order of the influence of each factor on the index was obtained;The optimal combination parameters are obtained by optimizing the regression equation model.The solution of this problem provides the best working parameters of the seed metering device for the hand-held air suction sorghum precision planter.(4)According to the test results of the air suction sorghum precision sowing test-bed and combined with the agronomic requirements,the hand-held air suction sorghum precision planter is designed,which mainly includes the main working parts such as motor,generator,seed box and seed cleaning mechanism.The field test is carried out,and the working performance of the planter at different forward speeds is obtained.The results show that it is better than the national standard.
