Nowadays,as people’s quality of life is improving, the iteration of daily necessities is getting faster and faster, and many products have been eliminated before they reach the end of their useful life, which leads to the problem of how to deal with a large number of old and unused items.Currently, both urban and rural communities have the problem of recycling old things, but urban communities have more diverse ways to deal with old things, including:recycling old things to make building materials and decorative materials, sorting and storing old things for unified management, and using new technologies to realize the resource utilization of old things.Due to the lack of appropriate treatment technology and management mode, the retention rate of used items in rural communities is much higher than that in urban communities. Some of the used items are renewable resources with great application potential, but due to their low value, they are mostly disposed of in the form of physical decomposition or direct damage. In this context,it is particularly important to propose new solutions for used goods recycling services in rural communities. This paper first reviews the current status and results of relevant domestic and international research, and considers the service design approach as the theoretical basis to guide this topic.Secondly, service design concepts, principles, methods and tools as well as the concepts and components of rural communities are studied and summarized.Subsequently, through extensive market research, the current used goods recycling services in rural communities are analyzed in all aspects from used goods recycling concepts, types, service models, and related products.Next, through questionnaires and user interviews, key data information was obtained, user pain points and opportunity points were divided and summarized, and user needs were organized,so as to build a design strategy and service system model in line with the used goods recycling service in rural communities. Then,we proposed three design solutions by sketching and scoring them separately using Likert scale to arrive at the final sketch solution, and based on this,we optimized the sketch solution comprehensively and launched an in-depth design to design the terminal hardware product and mobile application for the used goods recycling service in rural communities to complete the design practice part. Finally, the design practice was evaluated for user satisfaction, and more positive and objective user feedback was obtained. |
